Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the date of the tea ceremony or kimono rental for a full refund.
Cancellations received later than 48 hours prior to the date of the tea ceremony will not be refunded.
Cancellations due to exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, or unusually severe weather will be refundable at the management’s discretion.
Refunds take about a week to return to the credit card you paid with. We receive payments in yen and return payments in yen (via Stripe payment services). It is possible that when the refund returns (in the currency you paid with) that there is a slight discrepancy thanks to currency fluctuations. Unfortunately we have no control over this, and thank you for your understanding.

Rescheduling

If you need to make any changes to existing bookings then please get in contact via email.

Wherever possible the team will try to reschedule tea ceremonies and kimono dressing appointments.
We need to know about changes at least 48 hours before the date of the tea ceremony. Last minute requests will be considered, but may not always be possible.
